These Terms of Service set out the basis on which Kensons Garage provides its services and on which you may use this website. By enquiring with us, booking work or using this site, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
Who we are

Services we provide
We provide vehicle body and collision repair services, including:
- Body repair, dent and scratch repair, and accident damage restoration;
- Full and partial resprays and refinishing;
- Insurance and claims work;
- Vehicle servicing and maintenance;
- Brakes, wheels and rims;
- Customisation and interiors.
Quotes and estimates
We provide free, no-obligation quotes so you know the cost and scope of repairs before any work begins. Wherever possible we ask to see the damage — in person or from clear photos — so the estimate is accurate. We provide a clear estimate before work begins and aim for the final bill to match the quote. If, once work is under way, we discover additional damage or work that materially affects the price, we will contact you and obtain your approval before proceeding.
Bookings and your vehicle
Walk-ins are welcome, especially for minor damage that may be repaired the same day. For larger repairs we will agree a convenient date so we have the right time and resources. While your vehicle is with us we will take reasonable care of it. Please remove any valuables and personal belongings before leaving your vehicle, as we cannot accept responsibility for items left inside. Repair timescales are estimates given in good faith and may vary with the extent of the work or the availability of parts.
Payment
We offer flexible payment options, including BACS transfers, secure online payment links for convenience, and a card terminal for in-person payments. Soon, we will also be offering Klarna for flexible payment options. Payment is due on completion of the work unless we have agreed otherwise with you in advance.
Workmanship guarantee
All our repairs come with a workmanship guarantee, giving you peace of mind that the work is done to the highest standards. Please note this guarantee does not cover new damage from accidents, wear and tear, or issues unrelated to the original repair.
Insurance work
We work directly with insurance companies to help ensure a smooth claims process. Where your repair is being handled as an insurance claim, the terms of your policy and your insurer's authorisation will apply alongside these terms. You remain responsible for any excess, or for any amounts your insurer does not cover, unless agreed otherwise.
Liability
We will carry out our work with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that are not a foreseeable result of our work, or for pre-existing faults, wear and tear, or damage unrelated to the work we have carried out. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by these terms.
This website
The content, design, text, images and branding on this website — including the This is Art mark — are owned by or licensed to Kensons Garage and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and use the site for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce or republish any part of it without our permission. We provide the site on an "as is" basis and may update or change its content at any time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
